SICHUWAN: At least 11 people die and 122 others sustained injuries as two powerful earthquakes struck the south-west region of China on early on Monday night and early Tuesday.
According to Sinhua News Agency, an earthquake measuring 6 on the Richter scale struck at 10:55 pm on Monday night, with its epicenter in Yibin City in Sichuwan Province.
Similarly, another 5.2-magnitude quake rattled the province on Tuesday morning, said international agencies. A total of 4,000 people have been affected due to the earthquake and damaged dozens of facilities.
